Inlewd.com in conjunction with Doug Merchant presents this interview with "THE KING OF OLD SCHOOL" Steve Corino. Corino made his professional debut in 1995. Since 1995 he has held the ECW World Heavyweight Title, NWA World Heavyweight Title, NWA North American Heavyweight Title, NWA United States Tag Team Titles, PWF Heavyweight Title, IWA Heavyweight Title, IWA Junior Heavyweight Title, PCW Junior Heavyweight Title, KYDA Heavyweight Title and the KYDA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title.

DM: How did you feel when the ECW closed, and what have you been doing since?

SC: I knew it was going down so it wasn't a shock to me. Since then I have been wrestling more than I ever have and loving it. Having the time of my life right now.

DM: You have been wrestling for Dusty Rhodes group TCW. With all of the new groups that have been starting, have any other groups contacted you? Or is there a specific organization that you would like to work with?

SC: There are so many but to be honest I am always skeptical on new companies. I wrestle for Dusty because I believe in the man and his product. Dusty is like a second father to me and I want to see TCW grow.

DM: Dusty Rhodes is often mentioned as having one of the best minds in the business, what is it like working for him, and do you agree?

SC: He is a walking encloypedia when it comes to wrestling. Just being around him I feel like I get smarter about wrestling. I enjoy coming up with ideas and him telling me what is good and what is bad.

DM: You have recently formed a group called the Extreme Horsemen, along with CW Anderson, and Barry Windham. If you could any wrestler to the team, who would it be, and why?

SC: Actually the Xtreme Horsemen consist of myself, Jack Victory, and CW Anderson in WrestleForce America. If I had one dream partner it would be Dusty Rhodes.

DM: Working in the business, who would you say is the best wrestler on the Indie circuit?

SC: Christopher Daniels, no doubt.

DM: Who would you say is your favorite wrestler to work with, as an opponent, or tag team partner?

SC: As an opponent-Dusty Rhodes, as a tag team partner-Jack Victory

DM: What wrestlers did you idolize the most growing up? And who would you say most influenced your style?

SC: Tully Blanchard, Dusty Rhodes, Eddie Gilbert, Barry Windham, Michael Hayes were my favorites and I try to take a little from all of them.

DM: There was some talk on the internet a while ago that you were getting ready to retire. Was this just a rumour, or did something happen to change your mind?

SC: The fans changed my mind. In early October of 2001 I was ready to go from wrestling and they helped me changed my mind. I already had enrolled back into college and everything but within 5 days I got over 1200 emails asking me to reconsider and telling me that I should make new goals and it was overwhelming. Sometimes when the fire goes out, it is good to know that there are people that actually respect and love what you do. Now I would be honest and tell you that I will never retire until they drag me away!

DM: What tips would you give to anybody who wants to get into the business? And I know that you have a son, would you encourage him to get into the business when he gets older?

SC: Learn Learn Learn. That is the best advice I can give to a young kid looking to get into wresting. As for my son, it will be up to him. I will support him 110% in ANYTHING he wants to do in life.

DM: Ok, this one is a freebie. I'd like you to give a shameless plug for whatever you have coming up, or just say whatever you have on your mind.
