PREVIOUSLY ON TOUGH ENOUGH 2
We see what happened last week on Tough Enough 2.
TRAX WEST TRAINING
We open right in training for this weeks episode of Tough Enough 2.
Pete tells us he really has not talked to Jackie about what happened and he has no idea what is going to happen in the next few days so we all should stay tuned to find out.
Al Snow tells them all to pay attention today because they have a lot of stuff to cover. He hopes they kept everything they learned fresh on their minds because they have a lot to cover this week. We see them all in the ring doing arm drag exercises and screwing them up.
Anni told us they are having a hard time out there and they are all struggling.
Jacob said he thinks the peoples bodies are getting to beaton up and they are tired.
Ivory tells us they could see everyone had a problem and it was a combination of exhaustion and wanting to do so great.
Al Snow told us the harder you try and do something in the ring, the harder it makes for you to make it happen in the ring. Al said he would give us an example in Anni. Anni is so insecure it hurts her in performing in the ring and on the character side.
We see Anni screw up another arm drag move and Al tells her it did not resemble anything in the "ball park" that he has seen done.
Anni said she is concerned she might be a big tentative in the ring. And she does not like the way that looks.
Anni and Jackie had a conversation with Jackie telling Anni she has to go out and be more aggressive. Jackie told her when she stands up to get mad.
Linda said Anni is bashful in nature but she wishes she would come out and be this strong aggressive force because she has that in presence.
Linda and Anni have a conversation and Linda tells Anni she has to believe she is aggressive and can not front it, because it is really tough to do that (fake it).
Anni told us she needs to loosen up in the ring and work with people a bit better and gain some more confidence in herself.
OPTIMUM TRAINING
We see them doing the course as per usual. Raphael makes the comment they are going slow today and seem beat down.
Linda said the combination of Raphael and the combination of being in the ring for four to five hours can take a toll on their bodies and drain them.
THE DRIVE HOME
Hawk asked if it was just him or if everybody else felt really tired and of course they all did.
Kenny told us this game is about mental toughness and you have to have the ability to get your body banged up week after week after week.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
Hawk found more packages for Jackie at the door on their way in. She must have gotten some more from her boyfriend.
Jackie is opening up a package and pulling out a letter and she tells her that her boyfriend and her (Jason) have been writing letters back and forth. She said she would fight tooth and nail for the rest of her life until things between them got resolved.
Jacob said Pete got kind of attached to Jackie. Jacob said Pete still likes her and he still wants to "bag her".
Pete said he hopes her boyfriend (Jackie's) breaks up with her and he does not know what is going to happen. We see Jacob eating junk food and then Pete opens up the cabinet and we see hundreds of bags of junk food (I am not kidding, I guess they do not believe in health food while in training for this competition). Pete tells us that the uncertainty of the situation kinds of scares him.
Jackie is on the phone crying and apologize to her boyfriend. She tells us they both sat down and talked it over and a lot of tears were shed but things worked out (Gee, never saw that one coming - typical BS relationship between to immature people playing games).
THE NEXT MORNING
We see them struggling to stay awake. Jacob told us that everyone was pretty much beat down but that is when you got to push on.
BACK AT TRAX WEST
Hawk said he was feeling some stress and tension from what they were doing in the ring and it was not going to be a fun day.
Jackie told us she did not think any of them were working up to par.
Al Snow told them he will expect them all to be able to perform and he means it. All the stuff they have already gone over, they better be able to do it in the ring today.
We see them all messing up the moves again. Chavo said every day they are evaluating these kids and for the first two weeks he was impressed but ever since then everybody has taken two steps backwards.
Bob Holly told us he is not a patient person and it is hard for him to be patient because he wants them to learn and he can learn fast so why can't they learn fast.
Hawk and Jackie were messing up moves in the ring and Chavo stopped them and told them they were bumping and colliding in the ring.
Al Snow said he has come to the conclusion these Tough Enough Students are not exactly where he wants them to be and not at the level he wants them to be at and they have really started to wear down physically and emotionally.
Ivory tells us Hawk was having a very bad day and he broke down emotionally.
We see Hawk crying and Bob Holly asks Hawk if this is to hard for him and Hawk motions that it is not. Bob wants to know why he is crying then and tells Hawk he does not have time for him to cry. Hawk tells Bob Holly he is okay and he will stop crying and he wants to continue.
"Big" John told us he does not know what their stimulus is to get them where they need to be but they need some other type of motivation to get them to that point.
Al Snow tells the students he takes this very seriously and he is not going to allow them to besmirch his reputation because they are going to carry his reputation with them for their careers because he was the one that trained them.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
Linda, Jackie, Pete and Anni decided to go out to "Yankee Doodles" to party (showing me a lack of dedication to the competition and acting like it is just a game. They can not seem to get their lessons down and yet they go out to party again - go figure).
Pete sobs about how he likes Jackie a lot and he really thinks she is the perfect girlfriend but only to another boyfriend. We see them all hanging out at the bar and having a good time.
Pete is holding Jackie's hand and asking her to dance and he tells her he "swears to god" he will do anything "sexual".
Jackie tells us she feels she did lead Pete on and gave us some sob story about missing her boyfriend and nothing is going to happen between Pete and her and if Pete wants something to happen between them, oh well.
Pete tell us that he "did" like Jackie and she is a nice girl but he is not going to waste his time on her now.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
I'd like to point out Jacob, Hawk and Kenny did not seem to go out and party so at least they have their heads in the game.
Hawk tells Kenny it is almost 7:30 and Kenny is still lounging around in his bed. Time to get up and go to work.
Kenny told us that everybody is tired and really did not want to train and knew it was going to be a bad ass day.
TRAX WEST FOR SOME TRAINING
When they get to Trax West in the ring working out with the trainers is Nidia from Tough Enough 1. Al Snow introduces Nidia and Maven to the contestants and we get a good graphics package of the two.
"Big" John told us he felt it was important that the kids from Tough Enough 2 got a chance to meet the winners from the first Tough Enough.
Jackie told us seeing Nidia and Maven today was spectacular and she did not expect that to happen.
Al Snow told us it was not that long ago that Nidia and Maven were in the gate in the same position as these contestants were in now and look where Maven is at now and look where Nidia is at now (yeah, I know that does not bode well for the female contestants on the show.).
"Big" John told the contestants he thinks Maven and Nidia an tell their stories a lot better then he can so he gives them the floor and he tells the contestants he wants them to listen, asks many questions, and bring up any points they might have.
Maven tells them he lived in Portland, Oregon where he had a great life and then Tough Enough came. He told them he could honestly tell them he went in to the house and for the 9 weeks he was there, there were times he and Josh Matthews would wake up and ask themselves why they had sent in the three minute video to apply for the competition and their were times he wanted to throw the towel in. He said they were just tired of going in to Trax every morning and doing all of the exercises. But he wanted to tell them one thing, he got to walk out in front of 18,000 people on Smackdown! and 18,000 people were chanting his name. He told them if they thought they were in the wrong business to think about what it would feel like to have 18,000 people chanting their names. Maven said it is unbelievable and he can not imagine doing anything else.
Jackie told us two people will get the contracts and Maven and Nidia were the two people that got them the last time and she feels they are so much on the same level as Nidia and Maven to be able to talk to them and get perspectives and stories.
Nidia wanted to get a feel for the contestants and asked them how they felt about being at the competition. Jacob told her he has been an athlete his entire life but taking bumps is not the same as anything he has ever done before, but he can see himself out there.
Nidia told them people come up to her and ask her if it was really that hard and she tells them "no it was harder".
Anni said meeting Maven and Nidia helped them understand what their next step will be with the WWF and brings everything closer to home.
Maven told them he is just like them and his chair might as well be pulled up next to theirs and there is nothing 'special about him and that is why he is glad to be here today'. Maven wanted to let them know that the light at the end of the tunnel is worth it.
Nidia asked Anni how she felt about being at the competition and Anni said she loved being there and did not want to be anywhere else.
"Big" John said as soon as Nidia and Maven go there the kids seemed to perk up and he feels it was a really interesting dynamic that happened with the visit.
BACK IN TRAINING
We see them all training again and pulling off some crisp moves and they all seem to look like a million bucks again. Maven and Nidia are in the ring watching them perform and pointing out mistakes and helping to train them.
Anni said Maven won the contest and it was part of his personality to be so confident and forward and that is what she has to work on.
Al Snow told us that Maven and Nidia started to teach the kids and he did not think they knew it but they were saying the exact same things to the kids that he had said to them.
Pete said he feels Nidia and Maven helped them more then anybody else that had visited them so far.
Nidia said they all have great hearts and great passion and she can see herself in them and that is why she feels like she can relate to them. She said she wishes she could wrestle all of them and maybe one day she can.
"Big" John said he wished he had a piece of tape of when he told Maven and the last Tough Enough crew they were going to the Bahama's and he explained to the Tough Enough 2 crew that the Tough Enough 1 crew was so excited about the trip to the Bahama's and this time they were going to try and long trip and it was going to be a bit different. He told them they went to the Bahama's and had a really good time but they did not train and on this trip they were going train where they were going.
Jackie told us "Big" John told them they were going to have the time of their lives on this trip but they were also going to train while they were on the trip. She said she has no clue what they have in store for them but she can not wait.
"Big" John told them where they are going to is "Suncity, South Africa".
Anni said she has always wanted go to South Africa. Jackie said they were all stunned about the announcement and never expected something such as that in a million years.
Jacob said he was very excited and he had never been out of the country. "Big" John told them they were train and go on a safari in South Africa.
"Big" John told them Maven and Nidia were going to take them out for some dinner and they were stuck with him and Al Snow for the evening as well.
OUT AT DINNER
Nidia and Maven visit the house and Nidia is "wowing" about every room in the house. Jackie said it was really cool that Maven and Nidia were at the house.
Pete said they got a lot out of Maven and Nidia because they were in the same boat as they are in but a year ago. Anni said carrying a persona while wrestling is going to be a huge factor in who actually wins the competition. Maven said he would never have won if they were looking strictly at size because Chris was way bigger then he was.
Nidia said you never know what they are looking for. Pete said he does not have a cocky attitude he is the guy with a big heart (yeah he said that). Pete said he is a little guy at 5'8 or 5'10 and he will do anything he has to do. Pete said his relationship with Jackie is back to whatever they were before. Jackie said she did some things with Pete she should not have done but she knows she has to stay focused on why she here.
Maven told them they are at the point where they will start working matches and running the ropes. He warned them the first time they hit the ropes is going to be painful. Maven asked Al if he remembered when he kept bitching about "when are we going to hit the ropes" and on the same day they hit the ropes and he was on the side all blown up with pain from the rope burn.
BACK AT TRAX WEST
The proper way to hit the ropes. Al tells them to get in their and hit the ropes the exact way he shows them. We see them all doing this and getting torn to shreds.
Anni said she feels like she is progressing and she feels like she is becoming more aggressive in everything she does. She feels like she is going to come out on top.
We see them all examining their rope burns. Gruesome stuff.
Hawk said they were almost done for the day and "Big" had a proposition for them and Hawk thinks "Big" was just bored or something. "Big" wanted to know if they wanted to get chopped by Bob Holly. He said when you are chopped by Bob Holly it is real and a sort of branding.
Hawk said Holly whopped him and he is a man and he can take it. We see Holly chopping the crap out of Hawk.
Kenny said you could tell by the look on Hawks face that someone just chopped the heart out of his chest.
Ivory tried to chop Kenny but did not have much luck with it, so Bob told her to step aside because it was time to chop Kenny down to size.
Kenny said Bob gave him the chop from hell and it was like someone had hit him in the chest with a wet towel.
Bob told us he is rough but everybody else in the WWF is rough, he may be a bit rougher though. And some are a bit rougher then he is and the kids have to be prepared for that. That is what he does and that is why he is here.
AT THE BEACH
Hawk said they had a really hard week and they were physically and mentally exhausted. Jackie added that Maven and Nidia had brought everybody a bit closer and Anni added they started to relax and take a break from everything. We see them all at the beach acting like a family unit.
Anni said they were looking down on the beach and saw a bird that was not moving. Hawk said it had a hook or something caught in its mouth.
We see them (Hawk) trying to yank the hook out of its mouth. And the birdie flew away. Not sure if their is a hidden message in this.
Pete said this is a competition but they have all formed bonds that are stronger then any competition. Anni concluded they have become so close due to all of the extremes they have to go through.
